I got it from you. I never realized it until today. I did everything I did because I didn’t know any different. I have changed. I grew up in a year, you have not. You are almost forty now, twice my age. I learned the hurt that it causes, learned that you can’t be selfish that way. There is no excuse for what you are doing; there was none for me.

How long have you been doing this? How long will you continue to do this? A child should be able to learn good from their parents, to be able to look up to their parents. You always play the innocent, like you have never done anything wrong. It was always his fault, and it still is his fault.

How do you expect me to tell a thirteen year old that this constantly happens?  They have frequent affairs to feel alive. They are afraid to do anything else. They are too afraid to end their relationship. It is time you got over your fear.

It is sad when your daughter learns before you do. Please end this now, do not hurt anyone else. And tell dad to do the same.
